Privacy Policy

Room Designer (the “app”), at ingatlantervezo.com, is a free, browser-based tool for drawing room and floor-plan layouts. It is a static website with no backend: there is no account system, and we operate no server or database that stores your designs. This policy explains what little data is involved.

What we collect

Nothing on a server we run. The app does not require sign-up, sets no advertising or analytics cookies, and does not track you across sites.

• Your layouts (in your browser). The rooms you design are saved locally in your browser’s localStorage so they are still there when you return. They never leave your device unless you choose to share or save them (see below). Clearing your browser storage deletes them.
• Shared links. If you use “Share link”, the layout is encoded directly into the URL. Anyone you send that link to can open the layout. No copy is kept by us — the data lives only in the link.

Optional Google Drive integration

If — and only if — you click “Connect Google Drive”, the app can save and reopen your layouts in your own Google Drive. This is entirely optional and off by default.

• Scope: the app requests only the drive.file permission. This restricts it to the files it creates in your Drive — it cannot see or access any other files in your Google Drive.
• Where data goes: your layout files are stored in your Google Drive, under your Google account. They are not sent to, or stored by, ingatlantervezo.com.
• Sign-in tokens: the access token Google returns is held only in your browser’s memory for the session and is never written to disk or transmitted to us. Disconnecting (or closing the tab) discards it.
• Revoking access: you can remove the app’s access at any time at myaccount.google.com/connections.

Room Designer’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Google Drive data is used solely to provide the save/open-layout feature you initiate, is not transferred to others, and is not used for advertising.

Hosting & technical logs

The site is served as static files from Google Cloud Storage behind the Cloudflare CDN. As with virtually any website, these infrastructure providers may automatically process technical request data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver the site securely and reliably. We do not use this data to identify you, and we do not run our own analytics.

Children

The app is a general-audience design tool and is not directed at children, and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
